I don't know if you care for request but could we see a witcher with Gerelt, in a novel cover similar to the ones you put up?

Great work, especially that unexpected picture of Hunnicut as Davy Crockett.  If you haven't thought of it as a possible source, one of my favorite westerns is Charles Bronson's "Breakheart Pass". Besides Bronson you have Richard Crenna, Ben Johnson, Charles Durning, and even Archie Moore in the cast.

They were in the 12th Virginia Line but mostly on the frontier so they were in buckskins, on the run they made they were made up as Indians by Nonhelema the sister of Chief Cornstalk in their hair and general appearance. Philip Hamman was my grandfather 5 generations back and all of our people are pretty well dark haired and I heard that John Pryor was light having to dye hair into Indian dark and also cut it to the style. The country they went through was along the Kanahwa River through the mountains of West Virginia. There is a good piece on Wikipedia under title Phillip Hamman that tells the story well with links at the bottom for witness telling of the battle also. I have a photo of one of the Historical markers here in my gallery in photos also.
On the old markers the name Hamman is Hammond, the English spelling as mine is now, it was originally Hamman as he was from Germany. It was quite a battle and there are many books that cover it in chapters and a book about Nonhelema (work partly of fiction in paperback) that goes into it as well. I help that helps, I always thought that it would be an interesting piece :)
I thank you for your interest :) Ben

Like the sound of the piece about the two runners.Any more info? Would they be in uniform or volunteers?

I love your art, I have always wished that I had such a talent for I wanted a piece done of the two fellows in the colonial period that raced from Point Pleasant on the Ohio, on foot, going through a large Indian attack party to warn the Greenbrier settlements in 1778 what is now West Virginia, me being a descendent of one of the two. Historical markers are up along the roadside about it but I don't think there has ever been any art work, but I am a poet with no ability to draw, not even flies LOL and am quite impressed with your fine works :)
